Product Details

Australian Wagyu derived from prized Japanese Wagyu. Born wild on the northern Australian rangelands, these cattle roam free in family groups, grazing native grasses for at least two years. They continue to grow and mature in spacious pens where they are fed a bespoke grain diet, much of which is grown on farm - allowing the terroir of the land to shine through.

"One of the steaks that we received was incredibly, and shockingly, fatty. Nearly half of it was inedible. For the price that is paid, this sort of thing is totally unacceptable. The rest of the steaks that came in this particular shipment were excellent. However, the one “clunker” brings the entire score down."

"I recently purchased this and gifted on to a lady friend. I am a filet mignon eater as my preferred cut and for the past few years have been a wagyu eater. I've sampled all sorts of wagyu including all the prefectures in Japan, as well as wagyu from Australia, Tasmania and domestic pure breds right here in the good ole USA. I've tried a variety of cuts and was surprised that this top sirloin was so tasty and tender. It will now be a go-to cut when I don't want to pony up for prime. Try it as it won't disappoint."
