Certified Kobe: An Exclusive Offering
At Allen Brothers, we take immense pride in presenting the same coveted Kobe steaks provided to our five-star restaurant partners. While Japanese Wagyu beef is renowned for its superior quality, Kobe beef stands alone as the apex of Wagyu excellence. This specific, highly regulated variety of Wagyu is celebrated for its luscious marbling and rich umami flavor.
To be Certified Kobe, the beef must exclusively come from the Tajima strain of Japanese Black cattle, born, raised, and slaughtered in the Hyogo Prefecture, particularly in the Kobe region. Each steak undergoes a rigorous pedigree and certification process to earn the Certified Kobe distinction.
Allen Brothers, a Certified Importer of Kobe beef, is among only 8 US retailers authorized to offer this unparalleled delicacy. Each order includes a Certificate of Authenticity and 10-digit identification number that traces the beef back to its origins in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
Due to limited production and exports, Kobe beef is a rare indulgence. Now is the perfect time to secure access to this limited treasure.
Kobe Beef Tenderloin Medallions. Two pieces 4oz each. Ships frozen.
COOKING TIPS: Thaw overnight in refrigerator. Place cold steaks on a plate, lightly salt. In a smoking hot pan coated with a bit of oil quickly sear the surface of your steaks. Watch your steaks carefully, the internal temp should be just under rare or medium-rare, no more. Slice and share!
