Prime Bavette Steak

Two One Pound Steaks, Serves 4-6

 PREPARATION

Thaw product on a dish in the refrigerator.* Remove Prime Bavette Steak from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to cooking for best results.

DIRECTIONS

Grilling

1. Heat grill to medium-high. Clean and oil grate before placing steaks on the grill.

2. Rub steaks with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and minced garlic.

3. Grill steak, turning after three minutes for even cooking, 6-7 minutes for medium-rare or to desired internal temperature.

4. Transfer to a cutting board and rest for 5-7 minutes then slice and serve.

Pan Roasting

1. Heat large cast iron or stainless steel skillet over high heat several minutes.

2. Drizzle steaks with olive oil, season with salt, pepper and minced garlic.

3. Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to the hot skillet and add steaks to pan turning frequently for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare or to desired internal temperature.

4. Transfer to a cutting board and rest from 5-7 minutes then slice and serve.
