Chicken Kiev
1. If roasting in the oven, thaw packaged breasts on a dish in the refrigerator.
2. Roast in a preheated 350° F conventional oven for best results. If cooking frozen breasts in the microwave, use a high setting with rotation. Cook breasts to a minimum internal temperature of 160° F.
Oven:
from frozen - 40 minutes
from thawed - 35 minutes
Microwave:
from frozen - 3 to 3½ minutes
from thawed - 2 to 2½ minutes
After cooking, let the breasts rest for 2 minutes before serving.
The USDA recommends cooking to a minimum internal temperature of 180° F. Use a meat thermometer and check temperature in the center of the meat.
