Beef Shepherd's Pie



1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
2. Remove clear plastic cover and place pie in the container into the preheated oven on a cookie sheet frozen. Cook for approximately 45-55 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to measure the internal temperature, and remove the pie from the oven when the internal temperature reaches 155° F.
3. Allow the pie to set for 5 to 7 minutes before serving.

One 1-pound pie serves 1 to 2.

To help the crust brown, brush beaten egg yolks or cream on top of the crust before baking. Avoid edges to prevent burning.
