Braised Pot Roast
1. Thaw packaged pot roast on a dish in the refrigerator.
2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place packaged pot roast in pot and reduce to simmer.
3. Heat 55 to 60 minutes.
4. Remove bag, open carefully with scissors, and serve.
One 3½-pound pot roast serves 3 to 4.
Use smooth-edge plastic or wood utensils, for sharp objects and metal tongs may puncture bags. Be careful handling and opening bags. Steam will be released and contents will be extremely hot.
