Baby Back Ribs (Precooked)
1. Thaw packaged ribs on a dish in the refrigerator.
Oven:
2. Preheat oven to 375° F.
3. Remove ribs from packaging and place in a foil-lined, shallow baking dish and heat 25 to 30 minutes.
4. Brush with sauce and serve.
Grill:
2. Remove ribs from packaging and place on a preheated grill on medium-low about 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
3. Brush with sauce and serve.
Baby Back Ribs (Uncooked)
1. Thaw packaged ribs on a dish in the refrigerator.
Oven:
2. Preheat oven to 375° F.
3. Season ribs with salt, pepper, garlic, barbecue spices, and brown sugar.
4. Place ribs on top of sliced onions in a baking dish with 2-inch-high edges and fill with ½ inch of water or beer.
5. Cover loosely with foil and cook 30 minutes.
6. Reduce temperature to 320° F and continue cooking 45 minutes. The ribs are finished when they are fork-tender.
7. Brush with sauce and glaze in the broiler until sauce is sticky.
Grill:
2. Preheat grill to medium-low.
3. Grill boneside down 20 to 25 minutes.
4. Turn ribs and brush with sauce.
5. Grill until they are fork-tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
6. Brush with sauce and serve.
1 to 1½ slabs serve 1.
Meat is fork-tender when it "gives" when you insert a fork and twist.
Meat that is difficult to turn is not yet done.
